I loved your thought that we need to teach students how to use these resources wisely - rather than condemning their existence and blocking their use.Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17340076276738537542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-133587605778034167.post-47154021343248034632011-02-15T05:25:20.586-08:002011-02-15T05:25:20.586-08:00this is so good..

@...@John, yes let's continue the conversation.

@Vinnie, you are correct that we have not yet hit the tipping point. That said, the more we push the metaphorical "flywheel" that Jim Collins describes so masterfully in "Good to Great" the closer we are to starting the engine of change.
While I tend to be an optimist I do think we are getting closer to the tipping point.

To answer your question I think we should continue to share stories both in face to face presentations at conferences such as NAIS and conferences on-line.

We should also continue to grow our networks and share both successes and challenges we will continue to help this pedagogical movement learn and grow.LarryKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15794821341429490151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-133587605778034167.post-26438456225688098092011-02-14T06:35:25.352-08:002011-02-14T06:35:25.352-08:00Larry,

It transformed my life and finally realized the dreams about learning that I had moving from industry to school in 1993.

Sadly, not enough folks in the right places are buying in on this type of learning. Momentum is gaining, but I do not think we have reached critical mass yet.

So how do we take your discovery and share with others?

VinnieAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14511800021851497505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-133587605778034167.post-74262817168164847182011-02-13T18:57:40.062-08:002011-02-13T18:57:40.062-08:00Hi Larry,
